Curvularia species
- Health Effects
- It has been reported to cause type I hypersensitivity and to be a cause of allergic fungal sinusitis. It may cause corneal infections, mycetoma and infections in immune compromised hosts.
Curvularia is found on plant material and is considered a saprobe. It has also been isolated from dust samples and from wallpaper.
